this drawing was a tattoo design I found in a book and decided to try drawing out myself, probably the best human face I've ever done...

i'm really proud of this drawing and it took me about three hours to draw.

i started the outlining with a No.2 pencil; then i shaded her with a mechanical pencil, and finished the outline in ballpoint pen to make her stand out a little better.

Oh shit! I'm sorry to hear that man. It's never easy to lose a loved one, I know exactly how that feels. My best friend lost his dad in a car accident like six years ago, he hasn't been the same ever since. I hope you pull through alright... Just hang in there.

Yeah I took a gander at your gallery. I'll be honest you're way better at human faces than I am, that's for sure. You're style is also very cartoony too, even the 3D stuff. I like that. You should probably consider working for Disney. You're stuff definitely has that same vibe as those movies "Epic" and "Frozen."

Well hey man, keep your head up. You've got my condolences.
I hope things eventually get better for you...

That wouldn't be a bad idea, it's definitely worth giving it a try. Shit, I say go for it!
Let me know when you get started with it, I'd be glad to help out in any way I can.

Working hard at hardly working, my friend. lol I'm currently unemployed; most of the work I am able to find is mostly yard work, like pulling weeds or mowing lawns, or digging holes in the ground for septic tanks... I usually make about only $100 bucks every two weeks. If I'm lucky... I haven't had very much money lately, and the last time I did, I spent all that cash on weed, cigarettes, and a 12-rack of beer. lol

He'll yeah that's pretty bad! I'm also interested in the female form but I've always been introspective and facinated with myself. I rarely put pictures of the female form up that I draw because I'd piss off the girl who I was looking at that I drew. I've always had complications drawing women so I always work from reference with them

lol, in my case i'm a bit of a pervert so i can just think of a nacked chick or just a chick in general and draw hem ut as i see it in my head. which probably explains why some of my drawings are so prolific in some people's opinions. but yeah, i had a lot of fun drawing that one, and had a lot more fun doing the shading.

lol, i am too. but i'm a perfectionist and if shes not perfect the bitch is ugly to me. Sadly when i was younger i based most of my drawings off of pornstars. :D now we have stock photos on sites like this so i dont have to be a pervert to learn anatomy. I swear i just wanted to learn ;)

:rofl:you too? you based some of your drawings off of pornstars?lol, ain't that a coincidence...but in the sense of perfectionism though, just about every artist is in some way. even i got pissed off when my drawing doesn't come out the way i wanted it to and i just crumple it and throw it over my shoulder and start over, lol.

I've experienced the piles of crumpled paper my self. My girlfriend always gets mad when i do it too. Although I experience it more with photoshop now. I'll be working on a photo and show it to my girlfriend, and she says wow thats amazing, then I go "nah, I just deleted it" and then play games or soemthing

photoshop was something i only did for fun when i was fucking with a picture of myself, like if i wanted to make my face look like an alien or something, i'd do it again but i don't have any new pictures to fuck around with...and those crumpled piles of paper are a hell of a fire hazard. i say that because one day i was smoking a cigarette :smoking: and i flicked it into my waste basket and left the room to take a shit:toilet: when i came back my room was filled with smoke and my plastic wastebasket was burning and melted on the linolium floor:flame: at first i freaked out and ran to the sink and filled a pitcher with water and dumped it on the burning plastic and paper. after that i was so pissed :pissedoff: that i decided to burn the rest of my crumpled pieces of paper and buy an ashtray=P lol

hey, that's not a bad idea...you know what? i think i just might do that too. because you're part of the inspiration for this drawing, what color should her hair, eyes, skin, helmet, etc. be?

A Valkirie I would say! Killing beauty. You make very good work on shading - it is not complicated but very accurate

thanks, i had a lot of fun drawing this. in fact i was inspired to draw this from a drawing that someone made after i suggested it to her, lol, in a way you could call it a chain reaction...

as for Valkyries, they're actually more like Viking angels with chariots of gold. and now that you mention it, i think i just might draw that. when i get it finished i'll be sure to mention you in the description.

No problem!
Checked out her work - really very interesting chain reaction. And it surely would be good to see a Valkirie one day (if you are going to mention me - I'll be very flattered!)
